FIRA supports 7th International Woodcoatings Congress
"Reducing the Environmental Footprint"

FIRA is pleased to participate in the steering committee of the seventh conference which will no doubt offer many interesting papers and include an increase in the number of particular interest to the furniture Industry.
The seventh PRA Woodcoatings Congress will be held in Amsterdam on 12 - 13 October, 2010. This important international forum for the woodcoatings industry has been held every two years since 1998.
As in previous years, the 7th Woodcoatings Congress embraces all new technical developments in coatings and treatments for interior and exterior wood applications.
With many organisations incorporating environmental responsibility as a core element of their business strategies, the main theme of the Congress is "Reducing the Environmental Footprint". The steering committee welcomes papers that address the environmental theme or describe innovative woodcoatings research.
Invitation to Speakers
Speakers are invited to submit papers to the congress organisers describing new developments in coatings for interior or exterior wood. The selection committee will give preference to the most innovative papers that have not been published previously.
