A single voice for Office Furniture Manufacturers
FIRA recently hosted the second meeting of the Office Manufacturers Forum. The forum is designed to be both a single voice for the industry, and a mechanism for the industry to communicate on the key issues affecting it.
Subjects covered at the recent meeting included:
- Updates on DEFRA's Quick Wins standard for sustainable government
purchasing
- Updates on the BIFMA sustainability standard for office furniture
- Updates on current standards work and legislative changes
- Discussions on how to influence specifiers
